Performing “the most exciting chamber music in the United States” (Time), Musicians from Marlboro brings together young artists and their teachers from the Marlboro Music Festival, presenting world-renowned performers in concert alongside their own students. With a history of jump-starting the performing careers of young musicians, the touring ensemble has introduced such talents as Richard Goode, Pamela Frank, Andras Schiff, Benita Valente, and Gardner Museum Artist-in-Residence Paula Robison.
Musicians from Marlboro brings a new group of emerging young artists to the Gardner Museum several times each year. This fall, they perform works by Beethoven and Kodaly at the museum on Sunday, November 11.
